From DC:

North on Wisconsin Ave./355 past Naval Hospital to Cedar Lane. Right at light onto Cedar Lane, then 0.7 miles to Church (look for sign) on the right near top of hill (2nd driveway after light at Beach Dr.).

From Beltway Outer Loop:

Exit 33, which splits at bottom. Bear Right to Conn. Ave. North/Kensington. Left at 1st light onto Beach Dr., and follow for 1/2 mile to traffic light at Cedar Lane. Right onto Cedar Lane; proceed up hill to Church entrance.

From VA via Inner Loop:

Exit 36/Old Georgetown Rd. S; right onto Old Georgetown. Left at 3rd light onto Cedar Lane. Cross 355; Church is 0.7 miles past 355.

From South I-270:

Take DC spur; exit at Rte. 355. At 2nd light, turn L onto Cedar. Continue as above.

By Metro and Bus:

- Red Line to Medical Center. Walk ½ mile north on 355, right on Cedar Lane, Go 0.7 miles, or take Ride-On Bus #34 or #35 (ask the driver).

DC Jewish Community Center

1529 16th St., N.W., on the corner of 16th and Q Streets

To get to the lobby, go along the Q Street side of the JCC building to the parking lot behind the building, and enter the door from the parking lot. You will enter directly into the preschool lobby.

Parking: Park on street, around 16th and 17th Streets. Please note that we cannot park in the JCC lot, because it is contracted out to another Jewish group on Friday nights. You can now park at Colonial Parking at 1616 P Street NW (between 16th and 17th Streets. Monday - Saturday Nights: 6:00pm - 10:30pm, Sundays: 10:00 am-10:30 pm. Attendant on duty $5 per car at the lot. $4 when validated at Front Desk of the Washington DCJCC. Just obtain ticket from the Attendant, and purchase a sticker at the Front Desk of the J.

By Metro: If you don't mind a 4-block walk, take the Metro Red Line to the Dupont Circle exit. Take the exit to Q Street/Connecticut Ave., and walk east on Q St. until you get to 16th St. and the JCC. Jewish Primary Day School

Via Metro: Take the Red Line to Silver Spring. Catch an S-2 or S-4 bus heading for Federal Triangle. Get off at Military Road and cross 16th St. to the school.

From The Beltway:

take Connecticut Ave.south. Turn left on East-West Highway (Rt. 410) to Meadowbrook Lane. From DC: north on Connecticut Ave., turn right onto East-West Highway. Everybody: Turn right onto Meadowbrook Lane. Drive past the stables and around to the right, then left along the ball fields, to the Candy Cane Play area and the picnic shelter.

1000 Forest Glen Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20901 From MD and VA: Take the Beltway to Georgia Avenue North. Turn right at the first light onto Forest Glen Road. Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center is about 1 mile on the right. You will pass Holy Cross Hospital and Sligo Creek Parkway. From DC:Take 16th St. North to Georgia Avenue North. Turn right at the first light past the Beltway onto Forest Glen Road. Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center is about 1 mile on the right. You will pass Holy Cross Hospital and Sligo Creek Parkway. Via Metro:The Forest Glen stop is at Georgia and Forest Glen Rd, about 1 mile from the Senior Center.Call Machar ahead of time if you need a ride from the Metro.
